Valerie Kieffer is a unique independent designer/maker creating one-off pieces of Jewellery, Clothes and Accessories for women and men, using silver, semi-precious stones, feathers, leather and heritage handmade textiles.

Valerie is directly influenced by her travels among Native Communities of the Americas and the indigenous groups of Central America (Navajo, Huichols, Aztec and Maya); which enables her to fairly trade materials directly at source from the local communities while learning from their ancestral traditional cultures.

She blends ancient Shamanic traditions with elements of London's avant-garde scene into her timeless designs.

Whilst some of Valerie’s designs has clear North and Central American influences all her pieces integrate perfectly across the fashion spectrum, in urban and rural settings but always creating a talking point.

Valerie’s clients return again and again for fresh and timeless pieces of wearable art.  Considering the many hours Valerie gives in the creation of pieces, they are surprisingly reasonably priced.

Her unique creations are sought after by an international clientele of musicians, Dj's, collectors, models, who love her bold sexy tribal style and meaningful creativity!

One could call her a “Shamanic Craftswoman". The materials she plays with are chosen because they resonate with her. Not just their appearance but the energy they offer. She creates openly; the pieces developing naturally…no two are the same. Selecting semi precious stones such as; turquoise, opals, obsidian and found objects such as; hogs teeth, antlers, washed up coral, feathers, unusual skins such as; snake, ostrich, crocodile, these are then ‘woven’ into each piece, creating a story. Even a ‘plain’ crocodile skin bag is embellished with artefacts and precious ‘trinkets’ such as original Native American tribal pieces.

 Valerie’s creations literally are literally “handiworks” as most stitching is done by hand.  The joining and decorative stitching on the leather is incredible and beautiful. Feathers feature strongly within her repertoire and are reflected in intricate silver rings, necklaces, earrings and brought to life in voluptuous earrings in a rainbow of colours.
